First things first...
About Mice Hope is doing great! We changed her cage recently and fave her new bedding made from Aspen wood clumps. She loves eating it, and it's okay too. Pine and cedar is bad to eat, while Aspen wood is O.K. We got her an excersize wheel, a "comfort wheel", and she loves it. She'll run in it and run so fast that she goes on the side and then she'll slide back. She loves climbing on the back of her wheel, too.
About Me Oh, not much to say about me... not much has happened recently. And I'm a poet and I don't even know it, but I haven't got the time to make a rhyme. :|

Hello, everyone! Hope seems to be getting better~!
Today we moved Hope into a bigger cage, which she seems to like very much. She herself is also getting bigger, too! She isn't as skinny anymore, which is leading to the fact that she just began overeating. Nothing can distract her when she's eating, not even if we stick our hand inside the cage!! We took the food away just a couple minutes ago, so she won't explode in diarrhea from eating too much.
The first(night) and second day she could'nt move her tail. It was all withered and whatnot. Today she can move her tail, but we're not sure if she can bend it. It's gaining it's pink-ish color, too. We also put a waterbottle in there. She's learning how to use it still, but we think she'll eventually learn how to use it. (We have been feeding her from the cap of a orange prescription medicine tube.)
Hope's new cage's bedding is made from torn-up newspaper, and that green hay stuff that you can buy at Lou's [Pet Shop]. Her favorite things are exploring the cage and sitting in her "Felt Pocket". We're glad she's getting better!
Oh, and we told my Dad about the mouse. :) He didn't take it too hard, he just said that we should clean our room BEFORE we have a mouse, lol. He said "I'll chop the mouse's head off if you don't clean your room!" and at that, we DID clean our room. We knew he was joking, of course. 3 cheers for Hope!
Hip-hip HOORAY! Hip-hip HOORAY! Hip-hip HOORAY! YAY!! *cough*
Anyways, see ya.

Anything that has to do with mice. |
] |
BIG NEWS!!
Last night Liz went in the bathroom to... go to the bathroom, I guess. And she saw right there in the middle of the room-- A mouse! A little, tiny, eensie-weensie, cute wittle baby mouse!!! Liz cornered the mouse into a corner and caught it with a huge plastic water jug... rather a huge cup, and a towel on top.
Liz called me over after she caught it, and didn't show me until we got it in a the mouse-holder that she bought from Lou's Pet Shop a while ago. Good thing we had it!
The mouse is so cute! It's a girl, I saw.(lol) we named it Hope, because we didn't think she would make it last night. We kept saying "Hope for the best, prepare for the worse". We all prayed for the mouse. Thanks to all the people Liz was IMing who prayed for the mouse. (Thanks, Tegan!) All our prayers were answered this morning when my mom went to see the mouse (and move it from the garage to the den) and Hope was looking my mom right in the eye!
Hope is doing better now than she was this morning, she is opening her eyes more often now. The only time she opened them before was when she looked at my mom, and when she looked at Liz when Hope was caught. Now her eyes are open all the time, except when she is sleeping, blinking, or resting her eyes. She's very curious about what goes on far from her current home on top of the intertainment center. (In a cage, of course.)
She sits in a peice of felt that Liz cut off from a Beanie-Baby sleeping bag. She really likes it there, we thought she would. A website said that that kind of fabric is good for baby mice.
Hope is REALLY a baby mouse. She just grew her fur recently, it seems. She's very skinny because she hasn't eaten probably since she was born. 0_0 Her skinny body creates the illusion that she has a big head. It seems very coincidental that we found Hope around the time that I had been begging my mom for a mouse from Lou's Pet Shop and we just HAPPENED to have a mouse carrier. When my mom hears about it she said "Mary, did you pray for a mouse?". I didn't! Seriously!... heh...
All-in-all I'm glad how everything is turning out. Hope is getting better and we "hope" we can keep her. I mean, if we raise her until she gets better and then let her go she won't be able to survive, because she'll only know about living in a house with us. So, we think we'll probably keep her and give her a good life.
The only problem is that my Dad doesn't know.
-Mary
P.S. He doesn't know because we've been hiding her cage by putting the video game box and whatnot in front of her cage.

Morgan and I went bowling together that day. Must have slipped my mind until now. (Liz wouldn't let me on computer! >_<) The highest score I got was 46, just because I haven't bowled in 4 years. Morgan got a score of 49!! She beat me by THAT much!
I got 3 strikes in 4 games, the first of which was a warm-up. I got 4 spares, none of which were in the warm up. I got 2 spares and a strike in one game, the one I got 46 on. I can't wait to go bowling again...!
The last time I bowled I would use a 6-pounder, and I would carry it with 2 (of 3, lol) arms. Now, I actually can put my fingers in the holes, and I DON'T use bumper bowling. Yes, it HAS been a long time. I plan on going bowling more frequently now and facing off Morgan until I beat her. Yosh! Leeeeeet's GOOOO!!

It's been a "little" while since I last saw a friend of mine, Morgan Lorkowski, and I ws suprised when I last saw her. Well, actually she goes to Grace Community Church but she goes at the 9:00 service. I see her when I just come in and she's leaving, sometimes. I haven't gone to her house since I was 6! (I always thought I was younger than her but I found out that I'm older by 3 months! YEEES!) Last time, she had a 4 year old sister. Now, she has a 7 year old sister AND a 3 year old brother... SHE NEVER TOLD ME SHE HAS A BROTHER NOW!!! I feel as if nobody wants to tell me anything, I mean, Ryan's mom has no reason whatsoever to not like me ringing their doorbell, and Morgan could have told me that she has a brother now! (her brother is Chad, her sister is Allana) Can I trust myself that I don't have another sibling?!
*sigh*
But I'm too energetic right now to be all gloomy, so I think I'll go run around in the cold without a jacket and I'll wear a short-sleeve shirt. Weeeeee!
P.S. It's cold out today! It snowed earlier!

Sorry I haven't been writing in my LiveJournal recently, I'll try harder!
When me and my mom were driving in the car a couple days ago, 2 days ago I think, we came to a stoplight and while we were sitting there I saw a group of hobos standing arounda pothole in the middle of the street. Most of them were wearing a ton of dirty clothes all at the same time because they had no home to put clothes in and one of them, whom I have named Willie, was wearing decent clothes. He was wearing a big puffy grey jacket such as http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0000DJP0T.01-A3BHU1UEUYDJ19.MZZZZZZZ.jpg, except for it was grey and Willie is a man. He also wore a blue-grey round winter hat on his head, and he was looking at everyone who passed. I had the window down, so I think he saw me. It really was qutie strange seeing all these homeless men possible to be runover by some car. "What, you expect me to go AROUND them?!"
I recommend these IQ tests; take 'em and tell me what you get.

I got 127 on 2.

| A short entry. |
[19 Apr 2004|08:37pm] |
Liz haggled for a ukulele in Mexico. She got Matt and I a slingshot, too. Oh, and, after research, I found that to make a normal adult human you need:
35 liters of water, 7.5 grams of flouride, 100 grams of nitrogen, 250 grams of salt, 1.5 kilgrams of calcium, 800 grams of adenosine, 4 liters of ammonia, 80 grams of sulfer, 20 kilograms of carbohydrates, 5 grams of trace metals, 3 grams of silicon, and 15 grams more in small portions of materials.
Cool, huh?

6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear? Matt and Scott playing videogames, Mom and Dad talking in the kitchen, and Bob Dutco.

10: Did you dream last night? Hm... Yeah, I dreamed Liz came back from Mexico, and Yasuko came back from Japan, and we all ate Popplers and watched Full House and played games together. We had a great time! ...And then I woke up, and Liz was still in Mexico, and Yasuko was in Japan. ;_;

12: What is on the walls of the room you are in? An air-conditioning control thingy, a golden plate that says "As for me and my house, we will serve the lord -Joshua 24:15", and A mysterious lightswitch, supposebly to someone in Mongolia's shandelier light.

I'm writing a book! and this person is the main character! http://www.freewebs.com/mkkmypet/Lora2.JPG Her name is Lora, she is 19 years old. Her parents left her when she was 7, and died when she was 8. She is a female ninja that lives in the woods, and has lots of weapons. She is really cool, I wish I were as cool as her. Yaaaay.
